A beautiful place, and very special: peace and history. And very hospitable.

We had drinks outside in the lovely courtyard between our meeting and dinner. The chef met with us while we drank and discussed our needs. He then visited the table at each course to describe the dish. We had a set menu and each course was delicious. Good wine selection too. Service during dinner was faultless.

Enjoyed the "take out" this weekend. Absolutely top.

Let's get straight to the point: a restaurant with modest pretensions that actually deserves a star. The staff apologized in the meantime for the high corridor pace, because of the forced closing time á la Corona. Very polite, but unnecessary afterwards. The rhythm of the black & white brigade was very well balanced. The flamboyant, articulate sommelier (Joeri) made a celebration of the wine presentation. But his respected colleagues also flooded us with (culinary) energy. A salient detail: the hostess told us that they will soon have dinner themselves in Maastricht at Beluga. The tip is saved monthly to fund that particular outing. If that's not passion. Love for the profession! To conclude, I am obliged to put the chefs in the limelight, because every dish was spot on. High on taste, but that suits us. With particularly interesting acids and a French approach. Chapeau Kruydt! Au revoir and see you very soon! ??????

Great food and very friendly service

We ve been at Kruydt 2 times already. I would say it's one of the few good restaurants in Delft. By good I mean that they put some thinking behind the menu and that they pay attention to the food styling too. The place has a good ambience too. It is also nicely located in an old building very close to the center.

Delicious eaten, but the service was mediocre. After half an hour no card and then asked for it myself.

Dishes are ok/good. Nothing really fancy will be served. Some of the dishes where simple and tasty. The main part of the dish was often to salty (poultry, veal). Because of that it was impossible to taste all the other parts of the dish. The wines are good. The service was also good. They know there dishes and wines. Nothing to command of that. Price quality ratio wasn't good. If the prices where 20% lower the price quality ratio would be better. I would not come back to this restaurant for at least half a year to give them time to improve the dishes.

4 course surprise menu was excellent worth the money very satisfying will visit again

5 stars is too much but 4 is actually too little. Received in a nice spacious fresh but attractive environment. Service was great and food was super tasty. Full flavor with preservation of origin main ingredient. Quality makes the total price worthwhile. The only point of criticism is that the pace at which the corridors were served may be slightly lower.

Wine and food done. Delicious dish eaten at Kruydt. Dissected pea soup: piece of softly cooked pork belly on pointed cabbage, smoked sausage foam and celeriac crisps. With a delicious red wine from South Tyrol. Anyway done dessert and coffee. Well worth the effort. Neat and attentive service.

Was here with relatives while visiting. Nice place, friendly and helpful staff, nice food selection, clean, and abundant parking. I had one of the best Moscow Mules made by a very nice and skilled barkeep; she really knew how to make drinks. Highlights of the meal were the ribs, the hummus, and the salads.Desert was off the hook as well. Will be back for sure on my next visit.

Very high expectations of this place as it is quite pricey, but unfortunately a disappointing experience. The service was definitely not great, the ladies working did not try to create any atmosphere or sell anything from the menu or the drinks menu. We expected a wine pairing with the surprise menu, but this was never offered. Our glasses were empty most of the time and we had to ask the staff for another drink a couple of times. Empty plates were standing on the table for 10 minutes and the next course was served very quickly after clearing. For the wines we did drink, there was no explanation at all, which you would expect at a place like this. The first course and desert were absolutely delicious. However, the second course was chicken and the third course was pork, it was really disappointing to have two white meats in a row. Not great pairing at all! This place has amazing potential, but first of all the service needs drastic improvement, otherwise not worth going. Especially for the high prices you pay you would expect much more!

Great food, surprising flavor combinations, matching wines and very friendly staff. Restaurant Kruydt is a particularly attractively decorated restaurant and an absolute asset for Delft. You can park directly in front of the door in parking lot "De Paardenmarkt". An absolute must is the four-course surprise menu :). Ideal for an evening of dining in style.

Classic! Neat service, nicely balanced choice on the menu, excellent wines in a very nice location. Ask about the history, story is definitely worth it.

Great food and great service. The three course menu, chosen by the chef is highly recommended. Vegetarian options are available and dietary requirements are accommodated. Wines were great as well.
